Here is something new from BlueHost web hosting: For those of you who aren’t familiar, Bluehost shared web hosting has this new automatic script software known as Simple Scripts, which allows one to put stuff like a blog (like Wordpress), a photo gallery, forum, or photo gallery on your site with one simple click of a mouse.
Bluehost Simple Scripts vs. Bluehost Fantastico
In our view the Bluehost Simple Scripts application iway better than Fantastico for the simple reason that Simple Scripts updates their scripts on an hourly basis, while Fantastico takes weeks to update. For example, say I am using Wordpress 2.6 but I know that there is a new 2.7 version? With Simple Scripts I can simple go into the Bluehost control panel and find that script under Simple Scripts and download.
Another reason we like Bluehost Simple Scripts is the fact that I can reverse my choice and go back to an earlier version if I screwed up something. You simply do not have that choice with Bluehost Fantastico.
Overall, having this kind of capability is a great reason why a non-tech person would want to use Bluehost for their shared web hosting provider. I started with Bluehost years ago and now I have 5 different sites with them. And all this for under $7.00 dollars per month? Amazing.

Did you know you can use BlueHost web hosting with Mocrosoft’s Frontpage to make great HTML pages for your website? Not familiar Frontpage or how to use it with Bluehost?
Front page is simply software that allows you to make web pages on your computer, and then transfer them online after you make them. You could make an entire website without being online, and then put the whole site online all at once after you are done.
You can make and edit these pages, and publish them at your blue host account. You can do this using a FTP client such as filezilla, or directly though the Front page publish method. You can easily sync your front page software with your website using both of these methods.

1. The very first thing that you need to do is to chose a domain name for your website. Make sure that your domain name describes your website accurately. For example if your website that sells and reviews guitars, then chose a domain name like “guitar-master-reviews.com” Try to make it a catchy and memorable name, but most importantly make sure that it is a name that people search. You can use a tool such as Ad Word Analyzer to find out how often people search for keywords in your desired domain name. If it is searched for a lot, then it is a good choice to use that name.
2. The second thing that you have to do is to find reliable web hosting for your site. There are many different web hosting companies that you can chose from such as HostGator and Bluehost and it is best if you research different ones to see which one best meets your websites needs. It is a good idea to read some customer reviews for the hosting that you are interested in. Free web hosting companies suck and are not worth your time especially if you are using your website to make money. These free web hosting companies don’t have good uptime which means that your site will not always be online. This means less traffic and less money. They also will put a whole bunch of advertisements on your pages which will distract people from your content.
3. You need to download some kind of blog script. If you do not know any HTML code, then I highly recommend using WordPress. You do not need to know any HTML to use wordpress. It works very well with BlueHost also.
4. Make sure that your website has lots of content. This is the most important part of any website. Remember to make your content rich with keywords and tags. This will keep people interested in your site, and will also help people to find pages on your site easy to search for.
5. Traffic is hard to get. The best way to achieve getting traffic is by writing articles on your topic, linking to your website in the resource box and submitting them to article directories to get back links.
